Winter has definitely arrived in Fairbanks and at the time of writing this blog update it is exactly 25 below Fahrenheit.
As the season transitions from the bustling summer months just four months ago, the Basecamp shifts into winter mode. Mike and his daughter Rebecca are serving as our winter caretakers, maintaining the property and keeping everything running smoothly while I pursue some of my other passions.
During the winter months, I've been focused on operating dog sledding trips and flightseeing tours in northern regions—continuing the adventure spirit that drives everything we do at the Basecamp.
